Improving social mobility through professional mobility
Chance is an online career career guidance program for adults that aims to accelerate professional and social mobility.
Its “augmented coaching” method aims at helping all individuals chose a professional path aligned with who they are. It consists of regular video-coaching sessions with a coach chosen according to each personality, and a hundred or so autonomous self-coaching activities which feed into the coaching sessions.
The company also support the talents in the execution of their career choices, through its community and the newly launched Chance Duos (well-connected professionals agreeing to open doors for talents once they have validated their professional project).
7 years of scientific innovation in pedagogy, behavioral science and data science have enabled Chance to adapt its method to each individual thanks to real-time analysis of data and behaviors. With this innovative methodology, Chance has helped people more than 5000 people find their professional path that since 2020. Since January 1st,2022, a new person has signed up every 30 minutes to start Chance, from all socio-professional backgrounds.
Guided by its Honorary President, Peace Nobel Prize winner and microcredit pioneer Muhammad Yunus, its mission is to improve social mobility through professional mobility. While it also supports executives, Chance is committed to supporting at least 25% people per year with a salary below 1,400 euros per month.
